The algorithms that run our lives

The algorithms that run our lives
Have nothing in mind
It’s a technicality beyond comprehension
It’s a deal for the silent consent

I chose to react, you chose to accept
Yet each of us seem constantly upset
Now it’s hard to even share a word
For our ideas don’t match our world

But we could talk of what we learn instead
It was a grand decision either way
When I chose to leave, you chose to stay
So why can’t we share our lives anyway?

Sometimes I left before you did
To avoid the pain of staying behind
At times you left before I did
And the pain returned every single time

We are not meaningless we have choices
This time you chose to go
And I’m wondering how many times
My Life and your life will be so
